Australian Mutuals History provides a wealth of material on the credit union and financial mutual movement and its place in the broader financial services sector.

We offer a telephone and email inquiry service, and welcome researchers to our premises. We operate on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please contact us prior to your visit to book a research appointment as prior knowledge of your visit will enable us to retrieve the necessary records from off-site storage and ensure you derive the most benefit from your research time.

Researchers are required to complete a simple registration form and to abide by the Archivist’s instructions in relation to using and copying records.

Archives staff are not able to undertake detailed research on behalf of clients. See the AMH schedule of fees for service here.
